Resin Wave Workshop with guest instructor Awkwood Things at Heart Craft Studio

Come enjoy some light refreshments while you learn to make your own resin wave accented charcuterie board to use at upcoming dinners, or give as a gift! You can choose to make a large or small charcuterie board, lazy Susan, trinket dish, a California shaped board, a bear shaped board, and add on an optional coaster set. (If you'd like a different state, just add a note at purchase.)

Your instructor is Paige, local Sacramento resin artist that has been teaching resin workshops since the before times. You may have seen her resin wave boards on Good Day Sacramento; and at the Midtown Farmers Market.

In this workshop she will be sharing her techniques for mixing and pouring resin and creating a foamy wave effect. Using a food safe resin, that will last for years as long as it stays out of the dishwasher.

You will have colors for traditional waves, and several other colors to choose from to create your own customized functional work of art! All materials will be provided, as well as drinks and snacks. So you can come and enjoy refreshments with friends as you get crafty! Parent and child tickets have been added, for those wishing to have their children join in the fun! Parent/guardian supervision and hands on assistance is required for this project, and is not a drop off ticket option.

You’ll need to leave your piece to fully harden/cure. You can pick it up a full week later, on that Saturday at the Midtown Farmers Market in Sacramento, from 9:30-1. Paying for shipping to have it mailed to you is also an option, if you can't make it to the farmers market pick up.

If you’re feeling sick or have a fever, you’ll be able to reschedule to a future date, as all tickets are non refundable. Must reschedule within 60 days of the missed workshop. Just like a movie or any event/class, each ticket is for one person only! Each ticket purchase plants one tree, through the amazing organization, One Tree Planted.
