Kids Paint Your Pet OR Favorite Animal!
Create an awe-inspiring portrait of your pet or favorite animal, and have fun in the process. Be sure to sign up today, as seats are very limited.
Let's get creative and paint some colorful pets, and animals! In this fun class, kids will be assisted as needed to paint in their portraits. They can choose their favorite picture of their own pet, or send in a picture of any animal they wish to paint. Lizzy will show painters how to mix colors, and assistance is given individually, as everyone will have their own unique animal to paint.
This is a simplified version of paint your pet. When you arrive, Lizzy will have a 10X10 inch canvas with your pet or animal pre-sketched in a black outline, like a coloring book. You will also receive a print out of the photo you send in to use as a reference if needed.
In this workshop kids will be supported to explore their own creativity, and paint however they want to. This is their special masterpiece, and there is no right or wrong way to make art. All materials are included, with bright and metallic colors provided for extra fun.
If parents/guardians want to join and create a portrait as well, you are welcome to! Simply sign up for however many painters will be needing a canvas, and send a reference image for each. If you are not painting, you are free to sit with your painter, but we ask that parents/guardians allow their kids to be the artist and the creative genius.
This class will be held at the adorable Heart Craft Studio located in Rancho Cordova, right next to Logoff Brewing.
About the instructor: Lizzy is an artist living in Sacramento. She has taught painting workshops for over 7 years. Lizzy worked with Crocker Art Museum as an educator, and has taught art classes, and art camp to kids of all ages and backgrounds in the Sacramento area.
